She was 86. Born in Waterville, ME; she was a lifelong area resident until recently moving to New Jersey. Mrs. Dyer was an avid supporter of many veterans’ organizations and especially the Maine Children’s Home in Augusta, ME. Wife of the late Frederick J. Dyer, she is survived by four daughters, Dinah Lee Paradis of Bristol, CT, Pamela Gunkel of Mt. Holly, NJ, Deborah Dunton of Richmond, VA, Kelly Loftus of Marengo, Iowa; three sons, Frederick Dyer of North Charleston, SC, Darrell Dyer of Richmond, VA, and Scott Dyer of Durham, ME. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services and interment in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, ME will be private.
