Obituary:
Edward F. Burroughs, Jr., 75, a Mount Holly Resident for 50 years, passed away September 22, 2009. Born in November 1933, Ed grew up in the Trenton-Mercerville area. He served two years in the army and worked for NJ Bell and AT & T for 38 years. He retired in 1990. Ed was preceded in death by his first wife Gail (Shotwell) Burroughs, his parents Ada and Edward F., Sr., his sister Audrey Tindall, Aunt Bertha Applegate, and Uncle William Housel. He is survived by his wife Alice M.; his daughter & her husband: Linda & Norman Robinson; his son & wife: Ross & Phaedra Burroughs; three stepdaughters: Barbara & Frank Harkins, Debra Miragliuolo, Brenda & Scott Quicksall; 10 grandchildren: Elyane Cherico & Joshua Burroughs; Michelle & her husband Tony Kopuz, David, Andrea, & Kyle Harkins; Amanda & Michael Miragliuolo, Derick Shinn, and Kelsi Quicksall, Two great-granddaughters: Chloe King and Kylee J. Shinn. He is also survived by his nephew Edward (Betty) Tindall, niece Beverly Tindall; his aunt Edna Kreidenweiss and her two daughters; his close cousin Winfred (Carol) Applegate; 6 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law, and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 7-9 PM and on Monday from 10:30 – 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
