Mrs. Carter was born in Eastampton, the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Angelina Matarese Yacono. . She was a lifelong resident of the Mount Holly area. Wife of the late Orlando Carter, she is survived by 2 sisters: Josephine Rouse of Southampton, Mary Bodine of Eastampton and two brothers: Michael Yacono of Mount Holly and Nicholas DiStefano of Pemberton. She is also survived by three stepchildren: Landis, Jeanie and Barbara. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday at 10AM at the Sacred Heart Church, High Street and Bartram Ave., Mount Holly. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9PM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly.
