Evelyn P. Bush, age 81 passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009. Born November 27, 1927 to Otto and Elizabeth Poppe, Evelyn lived in the Pemberton Twp. area all of her life until recently moving to her daughter’s home in Mt. Holly.
A graduate of Pemberton Twp. HS, Mrs. Bush worked as a bookkeeper and secretary before working at Tru-Blu Cooperative Assoc. where she fell in love and married Harry “Junie” Bush. They settled in New Lisbon and had three children. After the children were grown, Harry retired and Evelyn went back to work for a short time with McElven Fuel Oil as their bookkeeper. Evelyn Lived for her family, and loved her home, flowers, traveling, a good day of shopping and walking on the beach. Her loving way, sense of humor and common sense leaves us all with wonderful memories to cherish forever.
Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Bush of Mt. Holly, Valerie Flores of Tabernacle; her “Favorite Son”, Brent Bush and his wife Denise of Tabernacle; Three wonderful grandsosn, Brandon Flores, Brad Flores, and Dan Bush; her loving big sister, Helen Cox; and several nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Friends may call on Thursday from 11:30 to 1 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the BGWCD Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
