Name: Eleanor M Clevenger Date: October 30th, 1927 - December 27th, 2009 Obituary: Eleanor M. Clevenger of Lumberton died Sunday December 27th at her residence. She was 82. Mrs. Clevenger was born in Mount Holly, the daughter of the late George and Elsie Steelman Thomas. She was a lifelong resident of the Lumberton-Mt. Holly area and her life revolved around her family. Mrs. Clevenger was the wife of the late Clarence and she is survived by six children: Robert (Paulette) Clevenger of Hainesport, Edward Clevenger of Lumberton, Betty Ann Worrell (Rodney), Jean Blum (Jim), Mary Ann Poinsett (John) and Susan Clevenger all of Lumberton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a sister, Margaret Taylor of Moorestown. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lumberton. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9PM and Thursday from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
