Obituary:
Almeda G. Burns, of Lumberton passed away on Tuesday, February 2nd at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mt. Holly. Born in Springfield Twp., she was a long time area resident. Almeda worked as a secretary and volunteer for many years at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Hainesport where she was also a church member and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was known for scheduling many bus trips and loved traveling, and embroidery projects. Mother of the late Sally L. Burns and David W. Burns; Grandmother of the late Charles E. Rinaldi, she is survived by her Daughter, Mary Ann Rinaldi (Charles) of Wilkes Barre, PA; a sister, Sarah Shellenberger (Jess) of Norristown, PA; a grandson, Lt. Col. David Rinaldi (Debra); two Great-Grandchildren, Barbara Marie Rinaldi, David Anthony Rinaldi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am, Monday, February 8th at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 1603 Marne Hwy., Hainesport. Interment will follow at the Browns Mills Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4pm until 6 pm and again Monday from 10am until 10:45 at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly.
