Name: Wauwiece "Pat" Hales Date: February 5th, 1926 - April 23rd, 2010 Obituary: Wauwiece “Pat” Hales (nee Self) of Philadelphia passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 84. Born on a farm in West Mississippi, Pat moved to Philadelphia in the 1940’s where she owned the White House Restaurant for 40 years and worked as a real estate agent for 30 years, just recently retiring at 83. Mother of the late Wendy Hales; she is survived by her two daughters, Joanne Gerard and her husband Bob, Debbie Goss and her husband Jack; four grandchildren, Carriann Brennan and her husband James, David Gerard, Tim Gerard and his wife May, Ryan Hales; and one great-granddaughter, Cecily Brennan. A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Sunday, May 2 at the Wyoming Avenue Baptist Church, 123 E. Wyoming Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19120. Interment will be private.
