Eleanor Jackson Diehm of Burlington died Sunday May 2nd, 2010 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. She was 58. Eleanor was born in Philadelphia and was raised in the Martin’s Beach section of Willingboro. Her father was a founder and first chief of the Willingboro Fire Dept. She was a former operator for New Jersey Bell, and also an operator for Zurbrugg Hospital in Willingboro and she was a certified home health aide. Eleanor lived for her children and grandchildren.
Eleanor is survived by her husband John, of Mount Holly, three children: Deanna Cramer of Burlington, John of Eastampton and Geoffrey (Jennifer) Diehm of Cherry Hill; 3 grandchildren: Chelsea Dorner, Tyler Dorner and Kaine Diehm and her sister and brother-in-law Tina and Allen Ferg of Georgia.
There will be a Memorial Service and gathering Friday from 11AM to 1PM at the Willingboro Fire Company, Charleston Road and Kennedy Way in Willingboro. Interment will be private. The family requests no flowers.
