Name: Leslie Bowman Date: August 18th, 1939 - May 11th, 2010 Obituary: Leslie (Tootie) M. Bowman of Westampton went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2010. She was 70. She suffered a long illness of COPD. Leslie was born in Mount Holly, she was the daughter of the late Lester & Rebecca Verner. She married her husband Richard on January 29, 1960. They raised 3 children. She worked and retired from the Burlington County Board of Social Services. She was on the nursery committee at Easton Bible Church where she also attended church. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Richard, Sr., her step-mother Sarah Verner, her son Richard (Jill) Bowman, Jr. of Southampton; her daughters: Terry Stockton of Westampton, Connie (Joe) Napier of Lumberton, and 8 grandchildren: Megan (John) Salvaggio, Andrea Stockton, Derek Napier, Jennifer Napier, Ryan Bowman, Cole Bowman, Kaeleigh Bowman, and Tori Bowman; 3 Great-grandchildren: Destynee & Izabella Salvaggio and Nevaeh Byrdsong. Her family was her life. She leaves behind her 3 good friends Joan Sweeten, Jean Myers, and Pat Hammell. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Easton Bible Church, 2407 Fostertown Rd., Hainesport, NJ. 08036. Interment will be in the Mount Holly Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Church.
