Name: Joseph J Tolmayer Date: January 13th, 1941 - July 20th, 2010 Obituary: Joseph Tolmayer of Eastampton passed away suddenly with family at his side into God’s loving arms on Thursday, July 22, 2010. He was 69 years old. He was born in Thornwood, N.Y. and has lived in Eastampton for 37 years. Joe was an adjunct professor of Economics at Burlington County College for the last 28 years. He loved to teach economics in a practical and easy manner. Joe loved his sports and was one of the first coaches of the Eastampton Soccer Club, but his greatest love was watching his children and his grandchildren playing all of their sports. He loved to talk about sports and sports trivia and anyone who would listen got an earful. Joe’s greatest love was his wife and best friend, Joan. Their love of 45 years created four wonderful children and eleven fantastic grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Robert of Westampton and his wife Patrice and their children Anna, Jennifer and Tony. His daughters, Terri Anderson, of Shamong and her husband Glenn and their children Zach, Luke and Jake; Susan Johnson of Harrisburg, PA and her husband Charlie and their children Charlie, Noah and Jillian and Deidre Adams of Berlin and her husband Mike and their children Jade and Joey and his sister-in-law, Dolores and her husband Dick as well as his special buddy, “Rusty” the cat. Joe was so proud of his family and would say how blessed he was. He will be sadly missed by them and all the people he generously shared his life with. The family invites friends to his viewing at Perinchief Chapels 438 High Street, Mt. Holly on Sunday, July 25 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and a funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 26 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church 260 High Street, Mt. Holly.
