Name: Paul Edward Hunley, Jr. Date: July 30th, 1949 - July 26th, 2010 Obituary: Paul Edward Hunley, Jr. age 61, or Shamong, NJ passed away peacefully on July 26, 2010 at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, NJ with family and friends by his side. Beloved husband and soul mate of Jessie, with whom he was married to for 26 years. Devoted son to the late Paul E. Hunley, Sr. and brother of the late Joann Baker. Paul is survived by his mother Anna Mae, sisters Jerri Collins (Bootsie), her husband Roger; and sister Anna Mae Hunley (Sissy). Paul was the proud father of 3 children: Mark Hunley, Michielle Cary and husband Ronnie; and David Hunely & wife Sonja; and 4 step-children whom he raised and called his own: Frederick Bush III & wife Nancy, Jerry Bush Sr. & wife Beth, Terry Bush & wife Lori, and Paul Bush. Also ex-daughter-in-law Megan. Paul was also a proud and loving PopPop to 13 grandchildren: Michael & Danielle Bush, Kristina & Jerry Bush Jr., Amanda & Taylor Powell-Bush, and Cheyenne & Zachary Ralston, David & Kalea Hunley, Emily White, and Savannah & Sonya Cary. Paul retired from Halliburton Industrial Service as an engineer after 16 years at which time he began his daily fight/battle of heart disease and diabetes. Paul enjoyed fishing on the boat, loved to surf fish, yard saleing, and most of all enjoyed to sit on his porch with his wife and friends and just talk for hours. He was a man never short of conversation and would light up any room he walked in. Paul enjoyed helping other, cutting his grass, and always put other before himself. All that knew him loved him and he will be sadly missed but never forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 1 – 2 PM at the Funeral Home.
