Name: Gladys Ann Danser Date: June 13th, 1947 - March 9th, 2009 Obituary: Gladys Ann Danser of Mount Holly died Monday, March 09, 2009 at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center in Mount Holly from complications of diabetes. She was 61. Born in Philadelphia, Gladys was a lifelong Mount Holly resident. She was a 1965 Graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School. She had worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Gladys was always active in serving the Mount Holly Community. She was Past President of the Mount Holly Jr. Women’s League and was 3rd District Advisor to the Jr. Women’s League. She was a member of Mount Holly Township Counsel for 11 years and had served as both Mayor of Mount Holly and Deputy Mayor. Gladys was Past President of the Mount Holly Historical Society and was active in the Mount Holly Recreation Department. She is survived by her mother Eleanor Danser Rich of Mount Holly; 2 brothers: Stanley (Lorraine) Danser of Nanuet, NY, and Stephen (Devon) Danser of Toms River, NJ. She is also survived by 2 nieces Amanda and Hayley (Mario); 2 nephews Adam(Shelley) and Stephen; and a grand-niece Grace Elizabeth. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 121 High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will be in the Mount Holly Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 – 8 PM at St. Andrew’s Church, 121 High St. Mount Holly.
