David Scott Anderson

David S. Anderson, age 60 of Jobstown, NJ passed into God’s loving hands on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Born in Trenton, David was the son of Marilyn and the late Connie Anderson. He was the devoted husband to his loving wife of 34 years, Karolyn and the father of his two beautiful daughters Alexandra and Katherine. 2 Timothy 2:6 says “The hardworking farmer should be first to receive a share of the crops.” David loved his family’s land and the legacy of farming. He learned farming from his father Connie and continued the Anderson passion of farming. David worked on the Anderson Family Farm with his father, as well as Anderson Lime prior to his career in the construction industry. He also had a long and distinguished career in civil and heavy highway construction in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. David was an avid sportsman, a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and boater. He took great pride in passing on his love and skill in the outdoors to his girls. He was also extraordinarily resourceful. There was little he could not build, fix, repair, restore, buy or sell. When he took on a project he worked it to perfection. In recent years, he was the recipient of numerous Best of Show awards for his antique vehicles. David was a talented man who felt and loved deeply. Whatever he put his mind and hands to he did well. Because his mind was always on the next detail or project he loved to go into the woods or fields (nature) for peace and rest. His family finds comfort in the fact that he is in perfect peace and rest in the arms of his Savior. We are thankful for the promise that we will see him again. David is also survived by his sister Louane Powers (Denny), nephew EJ, sister Elizabeth Hagen (Tim), nephew Ryan (Emily) their son Griffin and niece Rachel. Brother Brian Anderson (Diane), nephew Dylan and niece Bailey. And many loved Andersons aunts, uncles & cousins. Father-in-law Karol Franzyshen, mother-in-law Barbara (Harold), sister-in-law Wendi Brown (Richard), brother in laws Scott and Jeff Franzyshen, niece Christine (Steve) their son Hunter and niece Nicole. David will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. There are no words to express the comfort we have received from the outpouring of love from our friends, family, and community. We all mourn the loss of a special man. Family and friends are invited to David’s viewing and funeral service on Saturday August 6, 2022 at Perinchief Chapels (438 High Street Mount Holly, New Jersey 08060). Family and friends visitation begins at 11:00 am. Celebration of Life Service to follow. Burial will take place at Bordentown Cemetery (210 Crosswicks Road Bordentown, New Jersey 08505).
