David Brian March

David March, age 40, passed peacefully from this world at sunset on July 10, 2023. In life, he was a loving husband, son, and brother, and a man of few but always well-chosen words. David was a remarkably clever and resourceful person, talented at understanding technical details and keen to understand the workings of all things around him. Beginning with the pure mechanics of cars and computers, he later broadened his interests to the nuances of photography and breadmaking. He always strove to make everything he touched better, whether it meant tuning his (already fast) cars to remove throttle delay during acceleration, or carefully adjusting the light balance on a photograph he’d taken. David was an avid reader, especially of history and science fiction, and loved visiting museums, where he would typically read every plaque in the building while viewing the exhibits. He loved comedy and had a wonderful sense of humor – especially absurdist humor, having grown up listening to his father’s Dr. Demento recordings and watching Monty Python sketches. He had a strong curiosity for the world and loved to travel, with a special fondness for long, thousand-plus mile road trips. David also loved a wide variety of music – particularly live music, played as fast as possible. He enjoyed attending music festivals with friends, particularly the IBMA World of Bluegrass ramble in Raleigh, NC. David studied martial arts for years, especially wing chun and judo, eventually earning a black belt. He also practiced strength training, and encouraged his wife to do so as well, serving as her bench press spotter on date nights at the gym. He was a loyal and loving friend and family member, who wanted to do everything he could to help those he cared for. David loved animals, but especially cats, both big and small. He was a 2001 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School, and held an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Burlington County College and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University. David is remembered by his loving wife and partner of sixteen years, Katelyn Wolfrom; his devoted mother Kathy Davison, sister Chelsea March, and stepfather Dan Davison; his grandmother Shanti March, step-grandmother Kaa March, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Scott March, grandmother Anne Clark, and grandfathers Dr. Gerald Swayze and Paul March. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 21st from 4-6:30pm at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. A Service will follow at 6:30pm. www.perinchief.com
