Floyd W. Harper Jr.

Floyd W. Harper, Jr. of Westampton, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 3, 2022. He was 71 years old. Son of the late Floyd, Sr. and Alice Harper, Floyd was born January 20, 1951 in Mount Holly, NJ. He was raised in Rancocas Village, growing up on Olive Street. He attended Rancocas Valley Regional high school graduating in 1969. After graduating high school, Floyd enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Dental Technician, and served for 20 years being honorably discharged. In the Navy, Floyd traveled all over the world including some time spent in the Middle East, as well as Italy to name a few. Floyd also enjoyed taking cruises to the Caribbean Islands. He also loved having friends and family to come swim in his pool and have a good time. Floyd also enjoyed singing Karaoke with his siblings. He loved to play the lottery whether it be the Pick 3 or scratch off tickets. An avid Philadelphia sports fan Floyd supported the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. His biggest priority in life was his family, especially his grandchildren, who were his world. He was a kind, caring generous man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Floyd is predeceased by his wife Deborah Harper, and his sister Amelia Pernicello. Floyd is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Bill) Jennings, his son Greg (Mandie) Harper, his grandchildren Madison Jennings, Lily Harper, Braden Harper, and Emma Jennings, his significant other of 9 years Sydney Parker, his siblings Bert (Karen) Harper, Patricia (Michael) Procyk, and John (Nicole) Harper, his close family friend Mark Chamberlain, and his Uncle Frank (Carolee) Lamb, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Floyd will be held at 12pm on Tuesday December 13 at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street Mount Holly NJ 08060. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with his family from 10am-12pm prior to the start of the services. Interment and Military honors will follow the services at Scared Heart Cemetery in Hainesport.
