Jorge Luis Llamas

Jorge Luis Llamas, 69, of Southampton left behind this earthly world for his eternal home in Heaven. He was predeceased by his parents Heriberto & Virginia Llamas and his daughter Shannon Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Gaye H. Llamas (Jones); his son Jorge L. (Nicole) Llamas, Jr. of Wilmington, DE; his daughters who he cherished Katelyn S. Llamas & Kelsey N. Llamas both of Southampton; two grandsons, Dayne Jorge & Degan Jacob who were his pride and joy; his sister Nancy S. (Andrew) Loyer of Burlington, NJ. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Todd Jones of Hainesport, Heidi Grovatt of Hainesport, Jay & Sue Jones of Hainesport, Rebecca (Terrell ) of Parish, AL, Rachel & James of Simpsonville, SC; as well as many nieces & nephews: Jesse, Danielle, Shelby, Kayla, Hannah, Noah, Hayden, Jackson, Anna, Carter, & Tanner; and great-nieces & great-nephew: Sky, Autumn, Gabbi, Landon. Jorge held many jobs, US Steel in Bristol, PA to Virtua-Memorial Hospital and for the last number of years with the Mercer County Special Services School District. He loved all sports but especially enjoyed watching his NY Yankees and Alabama Crimsen Tide. Jorge was a loving Christian man who loved his Lord and Savior with his whole heart. He shared his loved with everyone and touched many lives. George attended Lighthouse Tabernacle in Lumberton where he was a member of the Senior Citizen group “The Beacons.” He loved meeting and fellowshipping with them. For the past 9 years, Jorge was a dialysis patient at Divita Dialysis in Hainesport. Jorge lived a full and vibrant life touching many, many people and never ceased sharing his love of Jesus with anyone who would listen. His family is positive without a shadow of a doubt that when he stood before his Father he was welcomed with open arms upon hearing, “welcome home my good and faithful servant.” Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 8:00 PM at Lighthouse Tabernacle, Main St., Lumberton. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Church. Interment will private. Contributions in Jorge’s memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org.
