Kathleen (Kathy) Denise Voss

Kathleen (Kathy) was born December 27, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to Lawrence Joseph Fagan and Mary Katherine Fagan and passed from this life peacefully at home in Plano, Texas on May 13, 2009. Kathy lived with her family in Hicksville, New York. She attended Hicksville High School and graduated in 1963. Her family moved to Willingboro, New Jersey in 1964. After marrying Speros (Pero) in 1966, the couple moved to Maine and Florida, but ultimately settled back in Willingboro. In 1973, the couple welcomed their newborn son Christopher to the family. In 1977, Kathy, Pero and Chris moved to Delran, New Jersey, where they lived for the next six years. In 1983, the family moved to Pleasanton, California, where Kathy and Pero lived until 2004, when Pero and Kathy moved to Plano, Texas. Chris moved out to Plano to be closer to his family at the end of 2008. She was a very compassionate and protective older sister, a loyal and loving wife and an unbelievably wise, thoughtful and caring Aunt and Mother. Kathy was loved and respected by almost everyone she ever met. Her kindness and generosity were beacons of light for others to see and witness. Kathy was always willing to lend a helping hand or give to those less fortunate. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the genuine love and caring she showed others. There will not be anyone who will not miss this amazing woman. We who have had the blessing and opportunity to know and love Kathy, have been genuinely privileged and honored to have had her in our lives. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence (Larry) and Mary (Marie) Fagan. Kathy is survived by Speros, her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, her son Chris, her sister Denise and husband Ray Wojnar, her niece Janeen, her husband Ryan McCullough and their daughter Darcy Kathleen. We will always love and miss you Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, Protector and Friend. Family will receive friends Monday, May 18, 2009 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at The Parish of Sacred Heart, 260 High Street, Mount Holly, NJ. 08060. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Kathy’s life will be held immediately following the viewing on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at The Parish of Sacred Heart. Kathy will be laid to rest at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Franciscan Missions or the Imperial Valley Food Bank.
