Lynne D. Fillius

Lynne Dee Fillius, precious daughter of the Most High God - one who faithfully praised and worshiped Jesus with the love and joy of the Spirit - breathed her last (at age 73) and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 during the early morning hours. Lynne was born April 27th, 1953 in Mount Holly, New Jersey and was a resident locally for her whole life. She attended Rancocas Valley Regional High School and was an active member of the graduating class of 1971 - participating in editing work, student council, plays, homecoming and more! Lynne was even voted the “Most Dependable” by her Senior peers. As Lynne moved on to her working years she began by bank telling at Burlington County Trust and progressed into the world of real estate with Stockwell Knight, Koury and Clement and finally Weichert Realtors in Burlington as an agent. Lynne was also a committed member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Holly for many years. She served as the Missions Director at FBC and her heart for missions sent her on short-term trips to locations such as Haiti and New Orleans. She was dedicated in her service always; involved in ministries making brown bagged lunches, sending letters through the “Grape Vine,” and even showing up to help with outside events the church hosted such as the homeschool science fairs. Lynne remained incredibly faithful and committed to her church community even during times when it got hard for her. Lynne grew up with two sisters and is survived by them and their families as her closest relatives. Through Beverly Goff (oldest sister) loving close family members include Raymond J. Dennis Jr. (oldest nephew) & Jill Dennis (nephew’s wife) with their children Allie Glancey [Patrick], Raymond J. (RJ) Dennis III, and Benjamin O. Dennis (grand niece and nephews), as well as Lucy H. Glancey (great-grand niece) who all reside in New Hampshire. Through Cindy Finter (youngest sister) loving close family includes Chris Finter (brother-in-law), John M. Finter, Timothy A. Finter, & Rebecca Lynne Finter (nephews and only niece) who have always lived within minutes away from Lynne in New Jersey. Lynne Dee Fillius also leaves behind many dearly beloved cousins and extended family through both the Borden and Fillius sides. She was predeceased by her parents Harry H. Fillius Jr. (father) & Doris B. Fillius (mother) as well as Charles H. Fillius (half-brother), Elaine Fillius (sister-in-law) and Floyd “Sonny” Goff (brother-in-law). Lynne made many precious memories with all her family during the holiday get-togethers, family reunions, special trips, birthday parties, and many many meals together. Her favorite things to do, in fact, were arguably to go out and eat lunch, greet every military person she could find, and sing the “Happy Birthday” song whenever possible. The joy of life did not escape Lynne as she sought to dance her days away at any given opportunity - always smiling, always inviting. We are thankful to all those (family, friends, waiters & waitresses, nurses and strangers alike) who took her by the hand, receiving the invitation, and showed her the kindness of a sweet dance - in doing so, all are welcomed as adopted family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, September 18th from 6-8 PM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 11-12 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Holly, 1341 Woodlane Rd., Eastampton. Interment to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery, Mt. Holly.
