Margaret(Missy) McGeever, age 72, of Columbus, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024. Born on October 20, 1951, to the late Leroy and Peg Naiberk, Missy’s life was a testament to the joy of loving and living fully. Missy is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Bill, her adoring son Gerard, her daughter-in-law Rose, and her cherished grandchildren Ava and Patrick. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter with her siblings Chuck, Joe, Jim, Frank, and John, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who brought immense joy to her life. She was the proprietor of the hyper-boutique Cucamunga Hotel, a beloved fixture on Equine Run, where her warmth was felt by its patrons. She was also a world-class baker often making cakes for special occasions like weddings and birthdays. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, creativity, and love, and her cakes were a testament to her skill and heart. Missy’s adventures across the globe with Bill and friends, coffee outings with Gerard, and the 'taxi' rides to the airport and other locations, were more than just activities; they were her way of savoring every moment with loved ones. She relished in the boisterous gatherings of the 'loud family', finding joy in the chaos of togetherness. Mom-Mom's love for her grandchildren knew no bounds as she was always willing to talk about her Ava & Patrick. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, including recent additions like Fulton, Louie, Noah, Harper, and Hadley whose piggies she loved to ‘nibble’. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the incredible impact she had on our lives. Her legacy of love, laughter at silly things, and the importance of family will continue to guide us. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly, N.J.
