Mary M. Biles

Mary Magdalene Orsini Biles of Browns Mills died December 10, 2013 at the Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly. She was 70. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Norbert Orsini, Sr. and Edna C. Lutter Orsini, Mary was a graduate of Lenape High School in Medford, NJ and lived in Mt. Laurel, Hammonton, Mt. Holly, and most recently, Browns Mills. She was a longtime employee of Virtua Memorial Hospital where she worked in the Emergency Department for 35 years. Mary was a Life Member of the Relief Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and has served as both President and Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a Life Member of the Burlington County Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed reading, crocheting, ceramics, and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mary is survived by her husband Clifford W. Biles, Sr. they were married on August 19, 1961; she is also survived by her children and their spouses: daughter Eleanor & Robert Brown, Jr. of Springfield, MO; daughter Edna & Clifford Fenimore, Sr. of Browns Mills, NJ; son Clifford (Kippy) W. Biles, Jr. of Mt. Holly, NJ; daughter: Joyce & Dennis Atkinson of Hainesport, NJ; daughter Alice & Kenneth W. Jester of Beverly, NJ; and extended family: Bruce J. Fenimore, Sr., Ernest E. Jester, Sr., & Edna Twigg, Theresa Renish-Boxer; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. The sister of the late Luise & Ernie King, Henry & Florence Orsini, Johnny Orsini, Norbert Orsini, Jr, Charles Eggermont, Emil Eggermont, & Alice & Frank Sczzpanski, Christopher Keegan, & Peggie Orsini. She is survived by brother and sister: Angelo & Josephine Orsini, and Elmira Lewallen, and sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathren Orsini, Joan Eggermont, Clistia Eggermont as well as 25 nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Contributions in her memory may be made to the family.
