Mildred R. Petrillo

Mildred "Millie" Petrillo died peacefully, with her devoted husband Tony by her side, at their residence at Care One, Moorestown. She had battled Alzheimer's disease for the past 8-10 years. Millie is predeceased by her daughter Barbara/ Babs (Al) and her great grandson Dante, Mother Eva Sherman Weston Smith (Howard), Father Almon Weston, Brother Al Weston and sister-in-law Betty, and Sister Becky Weston Zeliff. She is survived by her Loving husband of 70 years, Anthony "Tony". Children: Judi, Tony (Dayle/Liz), Tom, and Linda(Bob). 9 grandchildren: Lisa, Christopher, Stephanie, Kyle, Kelli, Brittany, Dillon, Dalton, Dustin. Great grandchildren: Nicole, Bianca, Aryanna, Nikayla, Markie, Brynlee, Oaklynn, Miller, Mackson. Great-great grandchildren: Cameron, Angel, Liam, Leo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Millie was born in Penn Yan, NY and raised in Canisteo, NY. This is where she met the man of her dreams, married him, moved to NJ where they raised their 5 children. She was very active with The Sacred Heart Church. She was a Lecter, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, PTA, and enjoyed being a part of the many Calendar Parties. She was also a member & volunteer for Senior Health Link and she was a member of The Memorial Hospital Auxiilary and American Federation of Women's Leagues. Millie developed hundreds of friendships over the years, whether it be neighbors, other members of the Church, Dad's fellow coach's wives, or her children's friend's parents. Mille was a great cook, and loved to be in the kitchen. She loved hosting get-togethers at the house. She was the glue that brought the family together. She prepared annual spaghetti and meatball dinners & pancake breakfasts for Tony's wrestlers, she made and delivered pots of meatballs, on many occasions, to friends or family members when they had suffered an illness or loss. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very involved in their lives. She attended multiple sporting events and cheerleading competitions. She was always there for everyone and was Loved by all who knew her. May She Rest in Eternal Peace with the Lord. Relatives and friends may attend her viewing on Thursday, October 21 from 9-10 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mt Holly. Interment is private.
