Raymond H. Chiusano

In the early hours of March 22, 2024, Raymond Henry Chiusano left us to be with the lord. Raymond Henry Chiusano was born on February 23, 1943, in Baldwin, New York. He was the beloved son of the late Henry and Antoinette Chiusano. In his younger years he enjoyed playing and watching sports, cars and finding the best pizza spots. He graduated from Baldwin Senior High School. Shortly after graduating high school, he joined the Army from1964-1967. During that time, he did a tour in Korea. Ray would often speak of his time in the army and his experiences in Korea. Later in life, his family put down roots in Marlton, N. Ray attended Glassboro State College and received his degree in Industrial Arts. He briefly worked in education then dedicated most of his career to working in construction with his cousins for their family’s company, Chiusano Builders. In retirement, he worked for BJ’s Wholesale Club, where he enjoyed working with his co-workers. In his golden years, Ray met and married his sweetheart, Marianne Chiusano, on September 22, 2001. They lived in Voorhees, NJ for 17 years before settling in Mount Laurel, NJ. Ray and Marianne enjoyed going out to dinner, family parties and celebrations. Ray was a devout Catholic and would rarely miss a Sunday mass at St. Thomas Moore Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. Ray was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to dance and was known to light up the dance floor. Sometimes Ray would dazzle us by beautifully playing Heart and Soul on the piano. For 23 years, Ray and Marianne lived a beautiful life together. Raymond Henry Chiusano is lovingly survived by his wife Marianne Chiusano, stepchildren, Danielle(Matt) Christiansen and Brian Stayton; sisters, Annette Chiusano and Rosemary Billert; nephew John Billert; and a devoted Raypop to Dylan and Lily Christiansen. . Relatives and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly, N.J.
