Timothy P. Harper

Timothy P. Harper, age 68, of North Hanover Twp., formerly of Springfield Twp., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Tim was a 1973 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School where he excelled in the sport of wrestling. He was a proud member of the 1971 undefeated wrestling team. Tim was a lifelong enthusiast of cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He most enjoyed his employment at Mills Harley Davidson where his hobby matched his career. Tim was enjoying 6 years of retirement that allowed him time with his many project cars and bikes. After his grandson Colton was born, he became his Pop-Pop and best friend while spending time with him each week. Tim adored his children, Kyle and Paige, and was very proud of their accomplishments. He enjoyed many vacations together and cherished his times with them. His constant advice to them was, “Watch out, the roads are slick” which became a family joke through the years. Tim shared 42 years with his beloved wife JoAnne. They were married on the 31st of July 1993 which was the anniversary of their first date. They shared many wonderful memories and adventures together. The most memorable were trips to Lancaster, Arizona, the Outer Banks and Switzerland with their children. In their younger years, they enjoyed motorcycle runs, camping and going to concerts. He was predeceased by his cherished Mother Kathleen A. Harper. Tim is survived by his loving wife JoAnne (Shaw), beloved Dad of Kyle (Meghan), Paige (Cameron) and adoring Pop-Pop to Colton. His dear sister Terry Toland (Dave). Brother-in-law of Marilyn Rue, and Carl Shaw (Audrey), supportive Uncle and a dear friend to many. Loving Pop to his canine companion Mia. One of Tim’s greatest joys in life was watching his grandson, Colton learn and grow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an education fund for his grandson.
