Christopher "Chris" Patrick Mahoney

July 22, 1965 - April 2, 2022

Christopher “Chris” Patrick Mahoney, of Westampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2022 with his wife by his side at the age of 56. He was born in Lansdale, PA to Marion (Keshel) Lightcap and the late Frank Mahoney. Chris began his career with Merck & Co. where he obtained his Millwright state certification. After 16 years, he transitioned to AstraZeneca where he was a Manufacturing Technician for 15 years and was responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment. It was also the place where he met his wife Diane. A lover of living life to the fullest, Chris’ passions included golf, shooting pool, the beach, cigars, micro brews, and wine. Chris and Diane traveled to Cancun annually, meeting new friends and making memories. He was also a member of the Mt. Holly Moose Lodge 737 and enjoyed the camaraderie and the good works that the club affords to the community. Furthermore, he was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands. He could fix and build anything. He is survived by his wife, Diane (nee Boucher); sons, Christopher (Katelynn) Mahoney, Jr. and Michael (Kaitlyn); a granddaughter, Harper; mother, Marion Lightcap; sisters, Colleen (Rudy) Gular and Cynath (Kennie) Garland; sister-in-law, Dottie Wells; numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Mahoney and a brother, Michael Wells. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on April 9, 2022 from 10:00 - 12:00 at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. A memorial service will be held at 12 PM at the funeral home.
