Donald Henry Wicken

Donald "WILDMAN" Henry Wicken of Hainesport, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles and Helen (nee Anderson) Wicken. Don served his country during the Vietnam war as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed life to the fullest, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. He was one-of-a-kind, wearing his trademark beard long, his hair in a ponytail, and anyone who suggested cutting either would be met with a very indignant "I beg your pardon!" He is survived, by his daughter, Victoria Cantu and husband Christopher, grandchildren Sarah, Madeleine, Zoey and namesake grandson Henry; brothers Mike and wife Janice; Robert Wicken; sister Penny Wicken Camburn and husband Joe; sister-in-law Barbara Wicken; best friend, Max; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Charles Wicken. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Don's visitation on Friday, April 22 from 10-11 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mt. Holly. A memorial service will be held at.11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Donald's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
