Dwight Musa West passed away quietly at the age of 31 on December 25, 2021 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ. Musa’s name is Moses in Arabic. He was named after his paternal grandfather Moses West. He was born on May 6, 1990 in Mount Holly, NJ to parents Ronda Turner and Dwight A. West. Musa was a lifelong Burlington County resident and received his education at Burlington County Institute of Technology and Rowan College at Burlington County where he received Associates Degrees in Computer Aided Draft and Psychology. He also loved jazz and playing video games as well as podcasting on his computer. Dwight is survived by his mother Ronda Turner, father Dwight A. West, his brothers Isaiah Holman Jr. and Joel Dean, his nephews Alijah, Isaiah, and Jayvion, his grandmother Dolores Turner, his aunts Jacque Freeney, Cheryl Christian, Tammy Nesmith, Gwendolyn Murray, Jacqueline Sutton, Iris Turner, Vicky Bonner, Lisa Heard, and Paula Turner, his uncles David West, Walter Christian, Benjamin Turner Jr., Derrick Turner (Chereese), niece Melanie Johnson (Justice), nephews Mike Bonner, Ventress Bonner (Cailyn), and his beloved dogs Rocky, Hannibal and Mercy, He is predeceased by his grandfather Benjamin Turner, his aunt Karen West, and Christopher Christian. A Memorial Service for Dwight will be held at 3pm on Friday December 31, at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street Mount Holly, NJ 08060. Friends and Relatives may visit with the family from 1-3pm prior to the service. The family kindly requests that all in attendance wear a mask.
