George B. Joyce

George Baldwin Joyce, a longtime resident of Southampton, N.J., passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the age of 95. Born February 22, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Aaron and Ella Joyce, one of two siblings. George served his country proudly in World War II on the USS Wileman DE-22 as a Motor Machinest Mate Second Class in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime employ-ee of Cybron Chemicals in Southampton, NJ.. He was a baseball coach and an avid hunter. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 60 years, Eva (Beattie), he is survived by his three children, George, T., David, and Marilyn (Gordon); six grandchil-dren, Michelle, Sara, Matthew, Zachary, Ashley and Stephanie; and eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Perinchiefs in Mt. Holly on Tuesday, February 9 with a viewing from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a private service for family. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
