Gregory M. Worrell

December 2, 1969 - May 2, 2022

Gregory M. Worrell, 52, of Lumberton, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Even while battling his serious medical issues in recent years, he showed courage in facing life challenges with a smile, sense of humor, and strength. Born in Mount Holly, NJ, Greg is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Jennifer (nee Town); children Jarred and Madison Worrell; mother Frances (nee Nelson) (Raymond) Fenimore; brother Brian (Michelle) Worrell; sister Sandy (Steven)Franklin; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his extended family; Sean (Dawn) Town, Amy (Tony) Town, Michelle Lacey. He is predeceased by his father, Fred Gregory Worrell and his in-laws, Eric and Karen Town and his brother-in-law Joseph Lacey. Greg was a devoted husband and father: his family was the most important thing in his life. He married his soulmate Jennifer in August of 1992 and then welcomed his two children in 2000 and 2003. He had a love of cars and trucks; especially his 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee. He always looked forward to his vacations to Disney and the shore. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and Phillies Fan. Also, he loved listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty, Charlie Daniels, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., and Waylon Jennings. Greg was one to always put everyone's needs before his own and would help anyone and everyone who asked. Greg was-employed by A&L Septic Service since 1989. He had such a strong work ethic and truly enjoyed working with his family and co­workers. Throughout the years, many of his co-workers became close friends that were always there to help and support him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, May 13 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment to follow at Park View Cemetery, Medford, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Gregory's memory to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive., Westampton, NJ 08060.
