James W. Whitall of Willingboro, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. He was 75 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Whitall was a graduate of Penn State University and was an educator in the Bristol Township School District for over 30 years. As an educator, he was an Assistant Principal and a Social Studies teacher. A longtime Willingboro resident, he served as an EMT in Willingboro after his retirement from teaching. Jim had a great appreciation for nature and all animals big and small. He enjoyed gardening, painting, reading books, puzzles, and was a talented wood worker. He was very active with his children’s sports’ teams, coaching and umpiring. Recently, his most favorite activity was spending time with his grandchildren and being their #1 fan. His entertaining storytelling and witty sense of humor will be long remembered by all. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cynthia; his 2 children: Melanie Schott & her husband William of Langhorne, PA, and Christopher Whitall & his wife Danielle of Hainesport NJ; his 6 grandchildren: Mariah, Jenna, Grace, Connor, Camryn, & Jaxson. He is also survived by his brother Richard (Denise) Whitall, and his 2 sisters: Barbara (George) Prieto and Angela (David) Adams; as well as his many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday morning, January 5th, from 9am – 11am at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, NJ.
