July 19, 1946 - December 29, 2021

James W. Whitall of Willingboro, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. He was 75 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Whitall was a graduate of Penn State University and was an educator in the Bristol Township School District for over 30 years. As an educator, he was an Assistant Principal and a Social Studies teacher. A longtime Willingboro resident, he served as an EMT in Willingboro after his retirement from teaching. Jim had a great appreciation for nature and all animals big and small. He enjoyed gardening, painting, reading books, puzzles, and was a talented wood worker. He was very active with his children’s sports’ teams, coaching and umpiring. Recently, his most favorite activity was spending time with his grandchildren and being their #1 fan. His entertaining storytelling and witty sense of humor will be long remembered by all. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cynthia; his 2 children: Melanie Schott & her husband William of Langhorne, PA, and Christopher Whitall & his wife Danielle of Hainesport NJ; his 6 grandchildren: Mariah, Jenna, Grace, Connor, Camryn, & Jaxson. He is also survived by his brother Richard (Denise) Whitall, and his 2 sisters: Barbara (George) Prieto and Angela (David) Adams; as well as his many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday morning, January 5th, from 9am – 11am at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, NJ.
