John F. Jones, Sr. of Hainesport, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his home. He was 76. Born in Westminster, SC, John was longtime Hainesport resident. He was a retired Supervisor at Griffin Pipe in Florence. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dora; 2 sons: William Jones and John Jones Jr.; 3 grandchildren: Zachary, Matthew, & Ava; and a sister Betty Jean Whitlock. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery. Face coverings must be worn and all social distancing guidelines followed.
