Loretta E. Johnson of Lumberton passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Cadbury in Cherry Hill. She was 82. Born in Mount Holly, Loretta was a lifelong resident of the Mount Holly and Smithville area. She was a longtime member of the Mount Holly United Methodist Church. She cleaned numerous houses in the area and also was a dog walker and dog sitter. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, going on vacations, bus tours, and cruises. The wife of the late Newton, she is survived by 2 sons: Charles Haines (Sandra) of Browns Mills and Matthew Haines of Mount Holly; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters: Alice, Barbara, and Joanne. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 1-2 pm at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. A brief prayer service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton. www.perinchief.com
