Lucinda Lanette Brown Kinsler

July 8, 1934 - March 6, 2021

Lucinda Lanette Brown Kinsler, of Browns Mills, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 86. Born on July 8, 1934 in Flemington, Marion Co., FL; she was the 10th child of the late Samuel Richard and Gillie Crowell Brown. She was a member of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She participated in various activities that included Sunday school teacher, church usher, and choir member. She has served faithfully at the Fort Dix Chapel for over 30 years where she was a choir member. She worked at Deborah Heart and Lung Center until she retired in 1993 after 20 years of service. Lucinda attended Clarksville Elementary School and graduated from Collier Vocational High School in Marion Co., FL. After graduating from high school, Lucinda moved to Chicago to live with her brother Samuel Richard, Jr. and his wife, Katherine. She enrolled in the nurse’s program at Cook County Hospital. She left Chicago to return to Florida to marry her high school sweetheart, Roy “Louis” Kinsler. At the time of his death on September 20, 2015, they were married for 61 years. She is survived by her children, Brenda and Ronnie; grandchildren, Edward, Marisa, and Mariel Adams; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her siblings, Lee, Matthew, Olden, William, Jordan, Harry, Samuel, Richard, Rosa, Mae, and Minnie Bell. Relatives and friends may attend her viewing on Wednesday, March 17 from 9-11 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. Due to Covid19 Pandemic, funeral guests are required to wear facial coverings and follow all health guidelines.
