Marilyn E. Crowley

May 31, 1934 - December 12, 2020

Marilyn E. Crowley, formerly of Mt. Holly, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was 86 years old. Marilyn was born in Oceanside, NY; the daughter of the late Harold and Ida (nee Cullimore) Buck. Marilyn was an active member of her community and generously supported many local, regional and national organizations. She paired her passions with her generosity, giving support to schools and educational outreaches, hospitals, animal shelters and medical research to find cures for ailments like cancer and diabetes. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Mount Holly. Professionally, she was an elementary school teacher for many years at the C.B. Lamb Elementary School (North Hanover Township). In addition to teaching, she was an avid reader, enjoyed swimming, camping, traveling, baking and playing games with her friends and family. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Diane), Terry (Deanna), and Richard Crowley; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Ed (Carole) Buck; sister-in-law Judy; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob and her brother, Hal Buck. Relatives and friends may attend her viewing on Monday, December 21 from 10-12 PM at First Baptist Church of Mount Holly, 1341 Woodlane Road, Eastampton. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM at the church. Interment to follow at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Marilyn’s memory to Teach For America or Easterseals.
