A devout Catholic, Renate volunteered for over 20 years with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, in helping to feed the poor. She also worked for the Blank Rome Law Firm as their office manager for over 20 years. On July 11th, Renate and John renewed their wedding vows by an old friend and Roman Catholic Priest Father Padovanie and reaffirmed their love for one another under God in the Catholic faith.
