Robert L. Davies Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert L. Davies, of Westampton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home. He was 66. Born in North Hornell, NY; the son of the late Sherwood and Marjorie (Blauvelt) Davies. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Beth” (Vatalaro); children, Allison and Brian; sister, Deborah Gordon; brother, Howard (Marlene) Davies; nieces, Jessica Gordon-Sheehan and Carolyn Gordon. Bob was a civil engineer (retired) with New Jersey Dept. of Transportation where he began working after graduating from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, boating, and motorcycle riding. Family and friends have happy memories of time together on Swinging Bridge Lake in Monticello, NY. He was an avid rock and blues music fan. Great times were had with friends at many concert venues but especially so at Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center, sacred ground of the Woodstock Festival. Special thanks to his “brothers” Tim Devoy and Ralph Jobes, good friends and neighbors who were always there when he needed them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, June 30 from 6-8 PM and Friday July 1 from 10-11 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a family plot in Constable, NY at a later date.
