Robert A. Gsell Jr.

Robert “Bob” A. Gsell, Jr., of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cooper Hospital, Camden. He was 75. Born in Mt. Holly; the son of the late Robert A. Sr. and Evelyn (nee Fort) Gsell. Bob served in the US Army as a Military Policeman in Fort Benning, GA. He worked for the Burlington County Bridge Commission for over 30 years starting as a toll collector than transitioning to bridge operator until recently retiring. Bob was an active member of the NRA for many years. He enjoyed spending Sundays watching and cheering for his favorite football team, the Raiders. Bob is survived by his sister, Susan Gsell; sister-in-law, Vickie Gsell; nephews, Jamison and Zachary (Danielle); and 2 great-nephews, Jamison Lee and Jonas. He is predeceased by his brother, Earl “Lynn” Gsell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, November 11 from 10-11 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting for donations made in Bob’s memory to St. Labre Indian School (www.stlabre.org) or the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
