Ronald A Lucas

Ronald A. Lucas of Southampton, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Virtua Lourdes Hospital in Camden. He was 64. Born in Mount Holly, the son of the late Alfred Lucas and Dorothy (nee Easlick) Lucas, Ron was a graduate of Lenape High School and worked as a carpenter all of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor sports and spending time with his family and friends. Ron leaves behind a treasure of memories with his wife of 48 years, Debra (nee Jacobs) Lucas, his children, David Lucas, Ammie Lucas Burns, and George Burns; grandchildren Alexis Burns and Nicolas Burns. He was brother of the late James Matthews (wife Joyce) & Joseph Huston and is survived by his sisters Sylvia Bozarth & JoAnn Caudle and brothers Gary Lucas and Douglas (wife Cathy) Lucas. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Elizabeth Ianeri, a brother-in-law Jake (wife Jane Ellen) Jacobs, and a wide range of family and friends. Friends are invited to his viewing on Friday morning from 9:30-11:00 AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Steet Mount Holly. Graveside services at the Mount Holly Cemetery will follow the viewing. Please come as you are and dress as you are most comfortable.
