Vivian M. Dembrosky Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vivian M. Dembrosky (née Betti) reunited with her dearest husband on June 27, 2022. Vivian was born on December 24, 1932 in Jessup, PA to Nando and Nellie Betti (née Paoletti). She was the beloved wife of John J. Dembrosky “Jack” predeceased March 26, 2021. Vivian and Jack were proud parents to their 5 children; Frank (Nancy) Suriano both predeceased, John (Sue) Dembrosky both predeceased, Mike (Lucya) Dembrosky, Donna (Andrew “Duke”), and Hope (Frank) Forte, proud grandparents to 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren The pair also leave behind their cat, Kitty, of whom they both doted upon. Vivian and Jack were married November 26, 1954 and enjoyed traveling the world with their children while Jack was active duty U.S. Air Force before retiring in 1971 with more than 20 years of service. Vivian was not only a devoted wife and mother, she also worked as a seamstress, deli manager, and an in home day care provider. She was known by many for her homemade pasta, pierogi, and cookies. She was creative and showed off her sewing skills by hand making intricate Halloween costumes and Easter dresses for her grandchildren. From a young age Vivian had a love for dancing; she found a second family after more than 25 years of country line dancing and some would even say she became the unofficial mascot of Prospectors Bar and Grill. Family meant the most to both Vivian and Jack, and they showed if often when they hosted summer canoe trips that finished with a backyard barbecue, and with their annual Christmas party complete with the holly tree lighting ceremony, and visit from Santa himself. Vivian was also a church member at Our Lady Queen of Peace. Vivian and Jack will be forever in our hearts and we are glad they are together again, one is most likely off playing golf and the other is stomping out a good kick-ball-change above our heads. Public viewing for both Vivian and Jack will be held on Wednesday July 6, from 6-8pm at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street Mount Holly, NJ 08060. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 7 at 11am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport NJ 08036. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, Vivian and Jack both wished for memorial tributes to be made in the form of charitable donations to either Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to the Wounded Warrior Project at support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
