Carol Anne Kelly

Carol Anne Kelly, of Southampton, passed away on November 21, 2021, she was 83. Born March 30, 1938 in Mount Holly, Carol is the daughter of the late Herbert and Beatrice Wells. She was a life long Burlington County resident, and attended Rancocas Valley high school graduating class of 1956. A fond memory Carol had as a child was her father reading her the newspaper while she ate penny candy. She still meets with friends from high school for a monthly luncheon which she greatly enjoyed and looked forward too. She enjoyed taking bus trips to see plays primarily biblical Christmas plays. Carol also enjoyed going to the casino with her husband William, the two also loved taking yearly cruises together. Carol enjoyed playing bingo as well as playing pinochle with the family and friends. Carol also enjoyed volunteering at Deborah Heart and Lung. Carol was a kind and caring woman who was loved by all who knew her, she was a mother to many. Carol’s great joy in life was her family, she loved spending time with them. She made sure to bake cakes for all her children and grandchildren’s birthdays. She will be truly missed. Carol is predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, William Kelly, her daughters Carolyn Marie, and Sally Anne, her brother Donald Wells and two great granddaughters Aaliyah and Nevaeh. Carol is survived by her children Sharon (Byron) Parker (nee Wainwright), Sandra Borel (nee Wainwright), Richard H. (Barbara) Wainwright, and Teresa Kelly, her grandchildren Michael, Kelly, Daniel, Stephanie, Rob, Ricky, Nicholas, Christopher, Sally, Jessica, Jennifer, Tina, as well as several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Carol will be held of Friday December 3 at 11am at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street Mount Holly, NJ 08060. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 10am-11am. Interment at will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery immediately following the service.
