Dante F. Rosini Sr.

Dante F. Rosini Sr., of Lumberton, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old. Born on November 30, 1961, in the Bronx, New York, Dante Sr. was raised in Westwood, New Jersey. He graduated from Westwood High School and later attended Valparaiso University in Indiana, where he was a proud member of the Delta Theta Phi fraternity. In his youth, he attended Zion Lutheran School and remained active in the Zion Lutheran Church. Dante Sr. shared a close bond with his four brothers and two sisters throughout his life. Dante Sr. proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for more than 25 years before retiring in October 2008. In addition to his military career, he worked for over 30 years as a Broker Associate with RE/MAX, where he built lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Dante Sr. enjoyed playing computer games, gardening, reading, and studying history. He also had a passion for researching his family genealogy. He especially loved bringing people together, often hosting social gatherings and barbecues where he proudly cooked for his military friends and loved ones. Above all else, Dante Sr. was a deeply family-oriented man whose love, loyalty, and generosity touched everyone around him. Dante Sr. was predeceased by his beloved wife of 22 years, Elizabeth “Cookie” H. Rosini; his mother, Eileen Rosini; his father, Dante “Danny” Rosini; his brother, Henry Bockhorn; his brother, Giustino “Justin” C. Rosini; and his sister, Janice Rosini. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Serenson and his wife Nicole; Michael Serenson and his wife Dayna; Dante Rosini, Jr. and his partner Mary Louise; and Anthony “Tony” Rosini and his wife Rikki Jessica. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Mazzella and her husband Carmine; his brother, Craig Rosini and his wife Laura; and his brother Drew Rosini. Dante Sr. was a proud grandfather to Brayden, Easton, Ella, Chance, Maddox “Max,” Keese, and Nikko. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and members of his extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a viewing for Dante Sr. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Perinchief Chapels. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. at Perinchief Chapels. Interment and military honors will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dante Sr.’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
