Eric Bell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric, a beloved father, son, fiancé, brother, and friend. Eric fought a short but courageous battle with cancer, passing away peacefully this past Sunday, surrounded by his loving family and his fiancé. Born on June 12, 1968, Eric blessed us with 56 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. He was a devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his sons. One of their favorite activities was crabbing together, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Eric cherished moments spent at Long Beach Island, where he found solace and happiness surrounded by the beauty of the ocean. He enjoyed playing dominoes with his fiancé Patty. He was a graduate of Burlington City High School, class of 1986. Professionally, Eric dedicated 30 years to Verizon, where he was known as the King of Overtime, and worked diligently as a field technician, outside plant technician, and union delegate for Local 827. His commitment to his work and his colleagues was unwavering, earning him respect and admiration from all who worked with him. A true culinary artist, Eric spent many nights dancing and singing in the kitchen while he created gourmet meals for his family and friends. His warm personality and infectious laughter made him the life of every party, turning every gathering into a feast filled with love, laughter, and memories. Eric is survived by his cherished sons, Hunter Bell of Ventnor NJ, and Noah Bell of Mt. Laurel NJ, his mother, Mary Bell of Mt. Laurel NJ, and his father Robert Bell of Burlington NJ. He is survived by his beloved companion and his loving fiancé Patty Quintero; his devoted family, and loving siblings Debbie (Lee) Atwater of Wilmington NC., Lisa Scarperia of Burlington Twp. NJ, Robert Bell Jr, of Marlton NJ., a host of dear friends and his beloved nieces and nephews, John (Jenn) and Alysha Scarperia, Billy and Cote Bell, Jackie (Tom) Farniok and Kenny Atwater. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his boys, Tamera Bell. Though he is no longer with us, the memory of his contagious smile and hilarious pranks will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:30am at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly.
