Jean MacFarland Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jean Isabel MacFarland of Lumberton, NJ and Hague, NY, age 83, passed away on September 17, 2010 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mt. Holly with her family at her side, following a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth O. and Iola (Graham) Delarm and the mother of the late Kenneth J. MacFarland. Jean was retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone and AT & T after a 44 year career as an operator and supervisor. She was a member of the Bell Pioneers and the Lumberton & Hainesport Senior Citizens. Jean is survived by her husband of 63 years, J. Logan MacFarland; son Logan K. (Virginia) MacFarland of South Otselic, NY, daughter Debra (Keith) Halcomb of Browns Mills, daughter Jessica Jean MacFarland of Lumberton; grandchildren: Robert (Cait) MacFarland, David (Megan) MacFarland, Joseph (Karen) MacFarland, Colin (Lisa) MacFarland, Ryan (Jessica) MacFarland, and Jamie Marie MacFarland; and great-grandchildren: Andrew, Colin Jr., Ashley, Ethan, Caleb, Tanner, and Brody. Jean is also survived by brothers Kenneth and John DeLarm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lumberton. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM at the Funeral Home.
