Loronnie Weathers

Loronnie Weathers known to his family and friends as Ronnie. Ronnie was born to Mary Weathers and Robert Lee Johnson on May 3, 1959 in Belle Glade, Florida. Ronnie departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2026 surrounded by his family. Ronnie attended public school in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York. Answering the call to serve his country, Ronnie enlisted in the United States Army on September 20, 1979. He served honorably until April 22, 1980, when he was discharged. Throughout his life, Ronnie was employed in several capacities . He worked at Vanco in Florence, NJ, and Recovery Care in Pennsauken, NJ. After returning to Virginia, he continued working, including in the restaurant industry and in the carpentry field. Ronnie was a fashion plate who was always sharp from head to toe. As the saying goes he was as clean as the Board of Health. His shoes were always shined and scuff free, with a crease that was military style. Ronnie loved to dance whether it was the latest moves or his own unique interpretive steps. He loved the ladies and was quick to flash a flirtatious smile. He was also a diehard Cowboys fan, cheering them on win or lose and never once being a bandwagon fan. Ronnie was also known for using his fingers to flash a W for Weathers, a gesture that reflected the pride he carried in his name and family. One of Ronnie’s final and most cherished moments was shared with his beloved mother. When she entered his room that Friday, Ronnie asked her to come closer. He leaned towards her and reached out his hand and she lovingly took it in hers. She remained by his side until Ronnie quietly said he was tired and wanted to sleep. She leaned over, kissed him, and shortly afterward, Ronnie peacefully entered into eternal rest. It was a tender expression of a mother’s love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who witnessed it. A special recognition is given to Ronnie’s youngest sister Shelita, who was the last family member in the room with him when he took his last breath. With gentleness and bravery, she placed her hands on his chest as he peacefully transitioned from this life. Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of family, love, and memories that will be treasured always. Loronnie was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Johnson, his aunts Mary Lou Chandler, Joyce Ann Johnson, Louise V. Johnson, Loretta Yarns, Carol Weathers, Johnnie Mae Weathers, Mildred Weathers , and his uncles Eugene and Clifford Johnson. Ronnie leaves to cherish loving memories, his mother Mary Fulton of Browns Mills, NJ, six children: Loron Hardin (Crystal) of Bristol, PA, Christal Hardin-Conard (Shawn) of Browns Mills NJ, Sherry Harmanson ( Rodney) of Raeford NC, LoRonda Weathers of Virgina Beach VA, LoRonnie Weathers Jr. VA, and CaRon Weathers of VA. Eight siblings: Lorenzo Giddens Jr. of Browns Mills NJ, Charlotte Weathers of Burlington, NJ, Sharon Coleman (Anthony) of Browns Mills, NJ, Tracey Giddens-Barnes (Romefayette) of Four Oaks NC, Shelita Giddens of Browns Mills, NJ, Valerie Jackson (Gregory)of Bordentown NJ, Dexter Johnson, Trenton, NJ, Alex Johnson (Barbara)of Bristol PA. 14 grandchildren: Mariah Matthews, Kennedy Creer-Hardin, Kingston Hardin, Deontae Hardin, Shane Conrad, Tyrese Ryeshe Johnson, Kanye Harry West, Me’Khy Dewayne Walker, Armarii Isaiah Anthony, Cairo Miguel Weathers, Leila Ann Maracle, Egypt Tzaporah Weathers, Jonah Young, Casper Weathers, and one great grandson Creed Hardin.
