Nancy Patricia Cristinzio

On October 4th, 2018 Nancy Patricia (Burke) Cristinzio left us for a better place at 57 years young. She was surrounded by family and friends at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Born in Chester, PA, she was raised in Willingboro, NJ. She spent summers with her family in Sea Isle City, a tradition she loved and passed on to her family. Nancy graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro, NJ. Shortly after graduation she married her childhood friend and sweetheart Joseph Cristinzio III. They had 3 children during their nearly 25 years of marriage. For the most part Nancy was a homemaker. She was always an extraordinary hostess for holidays and parties, most of which were always celebrated at her home. Nancy was also known as "Mom" around the neighborhood as she played the surrogate for all those who needed, and her children's friends. In her younger years she worked for a realty company and later in insurance. She also spent many years as a waitress to earn extra money. In her later years after her children were out of the house she found her way back to her nurturing ways and became a nanny. In her spare time she helped rescue animals and nursed them back to health to ready them for adoption. Her absence will be felt by many. She is survived by her mother Jean Burke of Willingboro, New Jersey, lately of Fort Pierce Florida. She is also survived by her 3 children, Joseph Cristinzio IV of Delran, NJ, Michael Cristinzio and his wife Michelle of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and her daughter Jean Marie Garbe and her husband Joseph of Dover, Deleware; her grandchildren Michael, Joseph, Lincoln, and Morgan, 2 siblings, her brother William Burke Jr. of Fort Pierce, Florida and a sister Kathleen Burke Lagrasso of Florence, NJ. She is also survived by and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, other family, and many friends. Nancy will be met by her beloved father William Burke, Sr. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Friends and family are also invited to visit with the family after services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy’s memory to The Michael J.
