Roger Thomas Konrad

Roger Thomas Konrad Sr., formerly of Burlington Township, NJ passed away on Friday June 26th, 2020 at home. He was 58. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, he was a graduate of Rancocas Valley High School Class of 1979. He went on to trade school at Pennco Tech for Automotive Mechanic. He worked as a mechanic at Equipment Supply and soon became Shop Forman. He kept working his way up by landing a position at National Lift Equipment as a Salesman before becoming self-employed at his own company, Equipment Consulting Services. Roger had a love for fishing, hunting, golfing, and being surrounded by all of his family and friends. Roger loved spending time with his children and teaching them the ways of life. Roger was happy-go-lucky, always squeezing in a joke where he could. His laugh was contagious, yet charming. Roger loved hosting parties and taking his friends out on his boats. He was very artistic, talented and loved to fix things so they were sometimes even better than new. He could take scrap metal and turn it into gold, like he had the Midas touch. Roger always lent a helping hand out to whoever needed it. He was always a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on and gave advice full of wisdom. His generosity and giving spirit left an everlasting impression. He persevered through all of life’s challenges and never let it change his positive attitude. Roger put a smile on everyone’s face he came in contact with and always brought rays of sunshine with him wherever he went. Big Rog will be incredibly missed. Roger is the son of late Anthony M. Konrad Sr. and Elizabeth “Betty” Konrad. Survived by his siblings: Anthony M. Konrad Jr. (Jude) and Bettina M. Pley (Paul); his 4 children: Dominique M. Kaloyanis, Kristina M. Konrad (Karl), Roger T. Konrad II, and Danielle J. Konrad (Mike): his girlfriend Heather V. Wilson; the mother of his children Amanda G. Kaloyanis; a large loving family and his countless friends. Family and Friends are invited to his visitation, service, and burial on Friday July 3rd, 2020 at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, from 10am-12pm with small service at 12pm. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. All guests are required to wear a face covering and social distancing regulations must be followed. Flowers in his memory may be sent to the funeral home for the services.
