Ruby June Warner

Our beloved Ruby June Warner graduated to heaven on December 6th 2017. She was 70 years young. Our brave warrior fought hard against cancer, but in the end the good Lord brought her home. Her great loves are her faith, family, and this country. She would talk to everyone about the Lord, loved and protected her family, and would thank every service member she met for their service to our country. Ruby was born on May 13, 1947 in Kassel, Germany to Billie Joe Haynes (deceased) and Jean Haynes (nee Hapchette). Ruby graduated from high school while her father was stationed in Mainz, Germany. Her father was in the Army and was stationed in Germany and several locations in the United States before they retired to Texas. She met, fell in love, and married then CPT Michael L. Warner in the chapel on Fort Hood, Texas on November 6, 1969. She took on the rewarding role of an Army wife and mother beautifully. In their military career Mike and June were stationed at various posts in the United States and completed a six-year tour in Germany. She was also a long time employee of the Armed Forces Exchange Service working as an Estee Lauder representative and served in a multitude of roles in several Officers’ Wives Clubs throughout the years. Their last posting was at Fort Dix, New Jersey where Michael retired as a colonel. After the Army, they laid their roots locally in Southampton, New Jersey where they have resided for the past 23 years. She especially enjoyed watching her daughters grow up, marry, and have children of their own. She also relished spending time with her three grandchildren. One of the greatest events of her life was traveling to Holy Land and experiencing walking in the same steps of her beloved Lord. She is survived by her loving husband, COL (ret) Michael L. Warner and her three daughters, Stacy McBride (William) of Westampton, New Jersey, April Michelle Holland (Patrick) of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and Heidi Warner Logan (Stephen) of San Diego, California. She is the beloved Oma to her three beautiful grandchildren David McBride and Cooper and Chloe Logan. She is also survived by her mother and five siblings Huel, Bill, Linda, and Elaine, and Cynthia of Killeen, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends throughout the nation. The viewing for Ruby June Warner will be held on Sunday, December 17 at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly, New Jersey 08060, from 5 PM to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 18 at The First Baptist Church of Mount Holly 1341 Woodlane Road, Eastampton, New Jersey 08060. Internment to immediately follow at the BG William Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road Wrightstown, New Jersey 08562.
