Shellene Ann Barker “Shud” September 15, 1960 – June 12, 2025 Shellene Ann Barker, 64, of Hainesport, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Shud was a loving wife, mother, gram, sister, aunt, and friend. Daughter of the late Sheldon Evans and Darlene Maybury. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Lex, and her cherished sons, Michael, Evan, and Christopher. She was just as proud of her Daughter-in-laws, Heather, Nyssa, and Ashley. One of Shud’s biggest joys in life were her grandchildren: Mason, Chloe, Sawyer, Ellie, Wyatt, Tate, and Finn. Shud is also survived by her loving sisters, Christina (Michael) Maccar, and Lisa Evans, Sister-in-Law Cheri Lehman, Brother-in-Law Greg Brown and her nieces and nephews Bradley, Shelby, Robyn, Julie, Michelle and Kelly. Shellene dedicated over 30 years of her life to Johnson’s Specialized Transportation, where she was known for her commitment and loyalty. She was a lifetime member of the Hainesport Ladies Auxiliary and an active part of her community. Shud was all about her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Whether she was hosting family gatherings, cheering from the sidelines, or simply offering her unwavering support and wisdom, Shud’s family was always at the center of her heart. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those closest to her will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Shud also enjoyed frequent visits to the beach, LBI being her favorite place to go to, a place that brought her peace and happiness. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9:00 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home prior to the Funeral services which will be held on Thursday, June 19th, at 11:30 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hainesport. Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at the Hainesport Firehouse, where all are welcome to gather and share stories of Shud. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shellene’s memory may be made to the Aleshire, Holmes, Wurst Youth Scholarship Fund, 23 Washington Street, Mount Holly, NJ 08060. Shellene will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
