Tyler Errick Parker

Tyler Errick Parker, of Willingboro, passed away peacefully and quietly on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family at the age of 92. Born in Lothian, MD, Tyler was the youngest son of the late Richard and Cordelia (Tyler) Parker. Tyler is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Delores (Griffith) Parker; son, David Parker; granddaughters, Charu Parker (Dru), Kaminah Parker, and Anchalee Parker; sister, Odessa P. Haley (late James); and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers, Richard Jr., Milton, Hilton, Monroe, and Woodrow; and his sisters, Yvonne Wallace, Lillian Hall, and Ruth Smith. Tyler was raised in Lothian, Maryland; he attended Anne Arundual Public Schools and in 1951 graduated from Wiley H. Bates High School in Annapolis. After graduation, Tyler worked various jobs in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD. In 1954, Tyler enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving as a Metals Processing Specialist. Senior Airman (Promotable) Parker served for 4 years on various bases, including during the Korean War. Upon leaving the military, Tyler began his career as a precision welder, working on countless civilian and military projects, including the Trident submarine for the US Navy. In 1967, Tyler and Delores were married, and they began a life moving to East Orange, New Jersey. In 1970, the couple moved and made permanent roots in Willingboro, New Jersey. After a fulfilling and rewarding career, Tyler retired from the Joseph Oats Corp in Camden, NJ. Tyler was a devoted family man who cherished time with his family especially his granddaughters. Tyler enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, listening to music, sweet treats, and his famous “quick” trips. He also had a deep passion for gardening, where he spent countless hours growing dozens of vegetables, especially his tomatoes, which brought him great joy and pride. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, January 27, from 9-10 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
