Tyrone Love

On Tuesday, March 17, 2026 Tyrone Love transitioned peacefully with his family by his side. Today we come to celebrate the life of Tyrone Love, whose kindness and spirit touched many hearts. Tyrone was born on February 13, 1972, to Jeanette Perkins and the late John Love in Newark NJ. He graduated from East Orange High School in 1991. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. Years after high school, Tyrone founded a music production company, Black Ice Productions, and maintained a recording studio in Newark NJ and Jersey City, working with local artists and entertainers within the music industry. From 2002 up until, he became a licensed real estate agent. In 2004, He worked for a children's home in Mt. Holly, NJ as a resident counselor, he later moved up to work for the state and continued his admiration for working with kids. A few years later, in 2007, he pursued entrepreneurship and built Pixtions Photography Studios, where his creativity and passion for photography allowed him to capture life’s most meaningful moments. Over the next 10 years, the business grew into a place filled with joy, connection, and countless lasting memories. In 2014, he turned his focus to the insurance industry, earning his license and certification as an agent and building yet another chapter in his career. Continuing his journey, he started again following his passion with children. He began helping young athletes to obtain NIL (Name, image, and likeness) sponsorship deals. His motto was “hard work beats talent when talent don’t work hard”. He inspired young men to follow the love of their sport and be the best they can at it and be confident in what they do. Through his guidance, many of these athletes were able to see and be seen for their potential and take meaningful steps towards their future. Leading up to his homecoming, he found his way back into the lives of the youth and worked for a non-profit encouraging kids to speak up and stand strong for what they want. Leaving behind a family that loved him so dearly: his three sons, Tyrone, Sean, and Bryson (Busta); his daughter, Tylar (Tutti), his grandchildren, Dominic, Ava, and Eliana; mother, Jeanette Perkins and her husband Judson Perkins; and aunts Annette Evelyn and Marian Burris, as well as a host of cousins and extended family and friends carrying forward his love, laughter, and lessons he shared. The family expresses heartfelt thanks for the love and support received during Tyrone’s illness. Please keep them in your prayers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, March 25th from 11-12 PM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Tyrone’s memory to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
