William David Losse

Bill, age 73 years, died on December 30,2023 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ surrounded by his family. He was born on August 30, 1950, in Hammonton, NJ, the son of David and Bernice Losse. He attended Florence L Walther Elementary School in Lumberton, NJ. He graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School-Class of 1968. He completed his Associate of Arts Degree at Burlington County College (Class of 1971). He completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Political Science at Rutgers University in Camden, NJ (Class of 1974). He completed his Juris Doctor degree from Laverne University (Pepperdine University) in 1977. He majored in Criminal and Contract law. He worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of New Jersey in Bordentown for 26 years. He retired in 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, David (1990), Bernice (2003), wife Ephrosini (2014), brothers Maurice (1983) and Russell (2020). In his spare time, he enjoyed photography and could always be found with his camera taking pictures. His interest in trains led to numerous rail fan trips throughout the U.S. He was a member of numerous historical railroad associations. He enjoyed attending concerts, especially while he lived in California. Bill enjoyed political discussions and elections. He was an avid fan of the Phillies and especially loved photographing the Phillie Fanatic . He enjoyed air shows and Hot Air Balloon Festivals. His photography expanded even further with activities he enjoyed with his nieces and nephews such as historical sites and wolf preserves. He was one to offer transportation to band camp and preseason field hockey practices to help his nieces. He also volunteered to babysit on snowy days when schools were closed. He could be found in the audience at elementary school concerts and middle school graduations. He made sure events were celebrated with ice cream or chinese food. He is survived by his siblings Robert (Charlene), Catherine Losse, George (Joanne) and Sister-in-Law, Kathleen Losse. His nieces and nephews: Kaitlyn Losse, Sarah Losse, Jessica (Scott)Huttenlock , Robert Losse Jr, David Losse , Christopher Losse, William Greenawalt, Sonya Godor, Matthew Losse, Jeremy Losse. His friend ,Nichole Harmon and Caretakers Mary Jane Parlor and Annamarie Gray. He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs Muddy, Laddie, Precious, BK and Peanut throughout the years. He will be missed by his family and friends.
